
Savannah McCaskill
Midfielder Savannah McCaskill signed with Angel City Football Club after a trade with Louisville FC on December 17, 2021. While a vice-captain at Louisville, she led the team in assists (3) and minutes played (1949) through her 23 appearances and 22 starts.
Before Louisville, McCaskill spent time with the Chicago Red Stars and Sky Blue FC (now NJ/NY Gotham FC). Sky Blue drafted her second overall in the 2018 NWSL draft and she finished the season as the runner-up for NWSL Rookie of the Year. In 2017, McCaskill played for the U.S. U-23 national team and was nominated for U.S. Soccer's 2017 Young Female Athlete of the Year award. In 2019, she played in Australia's W-League for Sydney FC, scoring twice in the championship game to lead her team to the 2019 title.
McCaskill played collegiate soccer at the University of South Carolina, where she started in all 25 matches and tied for the most points on the team.
